If you’re tired of looking at an old eye-sore of a fireplace or embarrassed for family to see it this holiday season; consider a makeover with decorative concrete. Concrete is one of the most versatile mediums that we custom design to fit the style of your home.
Fireplace re-facing can be done in a simple, modern, and elegant look pre-selected from the images below or, like we see in the before and after’s, as a high-end, artistic feature for your home. The style, shape, coloring, and finish is all up to client since each piece is one of a kind and made to order. Best of all we pour your project and finish it in our shop so, in most cases, there is very little install time needed in your home!
In this full house renovation we see an old, dingy, double sided fireplace transform into 2 completely new and beautiful centerpieces. The artistic, geometric side in the dining room of this water-front property features a 4 piece mantle, hearth, and backing fireplace with in-layed abalone shell, and coordinating colors. The owner also chose to update the fireplace from wood burning to a gas insert shown with the dark slate fire-glass in the center. On the reverse side of this piece we see an entirely different style; a full floor to ceiling work of art. This tall fireplace uses subtle movement and color variation in the panels to provide a relaxing and gorgeous focal point in the open design of this kitchen, living room, and entry way.
Small details like the exposed hardware, straight lines, and square corners on this piece complement the décor and style of a modern home. Built-in shelves replace a traditional mantle while still offering a base for adding personal touches or those seasonal decorations.
Some other popular styles for a floor level, or raised fireplace can be created similar to the designs below. Prices vary depending on selected style, added features, and the current fireplace. Quotes available for free. Please contact us with any questions or to get your project started today!
